If you are thinking, why can some guy in France work in our profession, you may find this interesting.
Who the heck is David Poole?
In 2016 and 2017 I put on an ADI Summit, call it a conference if you want.
Over the 2 events almost 300 tickets were snapped up by ADIs.
I have been a key note speaker for the MSA and the ADINJC
and in 2015 was asked to deliver a marketing presentation for the ADTAV, they are based in Melbourne Australia. I wrote an eBook called Marketing 4 Driving Schools which is packed full of different marketing ideas and any ADI can take a free copy.
So they are my credentials if you will.
Explore my site and you will see a tonne of testimonials from ADIs…
So anyway – who is David Poole?
Why wasn’t he an ADI?
Why does he live in France?
What does he know?
My wife is French and in 2008 we married,
we knew at some time in the future we would like to move to France and in 2011 we did.
Internet marketing started for me in 2007, I was looking at how I could
create a business and take it with me anywhere in the world, even France 🙂
Having looked into several professions I plumped to work with driving instructors
and there are a few reasons why.
There really wasn’t much support for instructors in terms of sales, marketing or business development,
and its such a good profession, helping other people achieve their goals and to keep them safe.
I spoke to a number of schools to try and uncover problems relating to sales and marketing.
As you know, ADIs don’t have a lot of time, many are not looking to build empires
and most have not come from business. I actually found all of that a bit of a shock.
In fact my draft copy of Marketing 4 Driving Schools received a few smirks 🙂
I had to go back to the drawing board.
I’ve sat in on lessons, I’ve met instructors all across the UK, I’ve listened to their issues
and I have gone away and put together results that work.
What started as a simple eBook has developed into websites, SEO, being invited to give a presentation the other side of the world and running my own summits/conferences etc.
My overall aim for helping instructors is to offer an easier life.
That means an easy way to market their school, and to increase their profits.
Yeah but David, you have never been an ADI…
…what do you know?
If you follow me, especially on Facebook, you will get to know I offer a lot of free resources.
It’s up to you if you want to watch, read, listen.
Many ADIs have done, and have been able to use my work for their own benefit,
if they can…can you?
Whatever you decide to do, be good to yourself.
You can increase your annual income by £3000 by selling motorway lessons, all you need is 23 seconds.
So you have more pupils than you can handle and you are considering recruiting an ADI to work in your team, but what is the best approach to expanding your driving school?
Renting a website is a quick, reliable and a cost effective way of getting a top quality website without any potential big upfront expense. Maintained and SEOd for you so it ranks on Google this is a monthly rental program just for your driving school business and it comes with no strings attached. So if you ever decide you want to move, try something different or whatever, you just hand the website back and no further money is owed. You well also get…
Go into Currys or any other electrical supplier and you will see an array of items to buy, computers, audio, washing machines, televisions and guess what, they all have different price tags.
You can walk into Currys and pick yourself up a TV from as little as £149 and at the other end of the scale you can pay £3000 or £4000 yet they are all televisions. Sure the top of the range are flatter, more curved, more features, better sound etc, but it is still a television and people still buy them. So can you sell a driving lesson package for £2000?
